Michelle got her temporary post-op cast removed today and sweet talked the nurse into giving her something festive for the holidays... since she'll have this for the next 4 weeks :)

Christmas Past
2006:
Christmas can't come soon enough...
Santa couldn't have brought a better present
2007:
Dustin's "Evil Santa" is scary
Sadie's favorite gift... the box, not the blanket
We'll have to cut her off the egg nog sooner this year
We will miss Moo's smile and laugh this year :(
"Can I open it now?"
Cheers! Raising a cookie to wish
everyone a great holiday season!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING...
You try to get them to sit still, look in the same direction, and smile at the same time...
Finally...

a day at the orchard & park
We went to a local orchard just before Halloween to get some pumpkins... guess other people had the same idea, just a little sooner. When we got there they weren't even charging the normal $3 admission because everything was so picked over... oh well, we had just as much fun. Sadie carried 2 over ripe tomatoes the whole time. Dustin was fascinated by a ladybug and the huge zucchini. Michelle being from Utah, couldn't believe we would actually be buying zucchini and told me about having to lock the car at church during harvest season so you didn't end up with grocery bags full of the green stuff.
After we had lunch, we went to the park I designed to let the kidlets run. When we got there, they were having a fall festival... the kids had a great time, even if Dustin was a little nervous in the bounce house and Sadie zoned out on the swings.

Halloween
This year we went to a halloween party at Michelle's work a few weeks before Halloween, then we went to our ward trunk or treat the night before Halloween.
This year Sadie fit into Moo's chicken suit from last year... still not sure who was a better chicken... Sadie was cute though, especially when she was flapping her wings and clucking...
super heroes need to stick together
yeah... I don't think Dustin thought much of the other chicken at the party
super heroes doing battle
mission accomplished... now it's time to dance
not the funky chicken you may be thinking of,
but a funky chicken none the less
sneaky chicken
Batman and replacement sidekick... spidermoo
cheesy grin... must be that it looks like batman
is wearing his underwear on the outside
cluckin' chicken
a very proud Spidermoo

Signed, Sealed, Delivered... She's ours
The judge signed the paperwork on Monday, then
finally, this past Saturday we were sealed to Sadie
in the Las Vegas Temple.
(L to R) Grandpa Langham, Grandma Lavona,
Grandma Knight, Grandpa Knight, Mommy, Sadie,
Grandma Langham, Daddy, Uncle Randy, Aunt Janna
Did I mention I got new shoes for the occasion.... I like shoes!
Sadie & Grandma Langham
Well, now that the sealing is done, why wait for
my baptism, they have water right here...
Sadie, being the wiggly little worm she is,
with Grandma & Grandpa Knight
Before & After? So, as you get older the suit gets darker,
but the hair keeps getting lighter. I'm not sure if this
is a picture of where Grandpa Langham used to be,
or where Uncle Randy is headed?
Sadie hanging out with Grandpa Langham
What's taking Mommy & Daddy soooo long?
Sadie pushing Grandma Knight, otherwise known as
how I entertained myself waiting for Mommy & Daddy
BIG HUGS... these were frequent
throughout the day, we didn't mind.
Janna & Randy
I asked if there was any business Randy & Janna
wanted to take care of while we were there...
but nooooo, something about Janna wanting
her family there, or her family killing her... one of those

Enough being cute, I'M ALL DONE NOW!
