The Sandy Lego

So... it's been over a month, guess it's time to post the vacation pics. We went to San Diego, or as the kids called it, 'The Sandy Lego'. Guess it makes sense. They have beaches, Legoland... why not. We also stopped by the zoo, just so Sadie could say hi to the giraffes.

It's a Boy!

So we got a call yesterday evening & 2 hours later, here's our newest addition. We don't know much about the what's & why's of his case yet.
His name is Pierre, he's 4 1/2 months old, weighs about 15 lbs...
He's the happiest little guy - unless we dress him in Raider's gear... which means he's very smart too...
Sadie & Dustin love their new toy, they took turns singing to him on the ride home last night, and stood by his bed this morning (with as much patience as a 2 yr old can muster up) waiting for him to wake up.

Last weekend Daddy & Dustin went on the ward's father and son outing to warm springs ranch (about 60 miles north of las vegas)... you tell me if he had fun...

Michelle's been asking me to update out blog for a while... so I was looking for some photos to upload, but I thought this was better.
If you don't hear from me for a while it's because Michelle killed me...

Potty time

Hey it's big news for us! It marks the beginning of financial freedom from diapers. Sure, on occasion she has gone potty in the big-girl potty before, but it's been more of a random accident than anything else... but today, today she told Michelle that her tummy was hurting (and since last time that was followed by pee puddles on the floor), Michelle put her on the potty and tah-dah!!!
Ok... so I'm getting a little too excited over this, maybe... I mean I don't post pictures of anyone else in the family when they put their pee in the potty... and for that, you can all be very thankful!

Disneyland!!!

We went to Disneyland on 2/3 with Randy & Janna. The kids had so much fun. Dustin loves Buzz, so that was the highlight of his day... now he's met his hero, it's all down hill from here... Sadie got really good at raising her arms and yelling everytime a ride would go fast... too bad she was about a 1/2 inch too short for the Thunder Mountain Railroad or the Toontown roller coaster. To our surprise, Dustin had a blast on the roller coaster, which goes quite fast. Considering he had a white knuckle grip on the Storytime railroad & Dumbo (where we started our day), he came along way...(might have had something to do with the bearhug he was getting from Janna, and that it all went so fast he didn't know what to think?!?)
So... because the weather was fantastic, and the lines were even better, we've decided to make a tradition of going on the Monday after the Superbowl with Randy & Janna... anyone else is welcome to join us... See you there next year!
